Normal build time is 3 weeks, but could be longer based on Holiday orders so please plan ahead.
We are offering custom made jewelry boxes built to your spec.
There are three Jewelry Boxes pictured,
all hand made from various exotic woods.
Compared to some other boxes offered here and other places you
can truly have whatever you want on here.
Shown are Tiger Maple bodied boxes. The flamed
Hawaiian Koa top one with the twin tiger maple twin
interlocked hearts came out awesome, built for a customer in Bermuda.
The Tiger Maple Topped One has an incredible inlay of a bird,
made up of various woods,
creating the bird's face and encircling a school logo.
The figure of the wood on the top is very unique
and will vary with each box built.
The third box's lid is of Purpleheart and is inlaid
with tiger maple spelling out the name Melissa for another customer
These are coming out so nice...
The tops can be laser inlaid with contrasting woods
with a name a slogan or a logo.
The hinges are all laser mortised in for perfect closes :)
The trays are all hand made from a single piece of
Peruvian Walnut and lined with a suede-like
micro fiber padded material
The top tray has 15 slots for rings and earrings and
the bottom tray has two elongated slots for necklaces, watches
buy you can have as many or as little compartments as you like
An Italian box maker that I met a few weeks ago
saw these boxes in my store and told me that of this quality
these would sell for $1200 plus in Italy if they could offer them
which they couldnt and that the labor would be outstanding. We make these for a jewelry store
in Boston and they sell them for an incredible $2000 a piece.
I've got these down to a science now and you can
have one of these custom built for you
The sides are all mitered and are cut from the same board.
We use woods kiln dried to 6-8% moisture to prevent movement.
The insides have two removable trays lined with padded material of your choice.
The dividers are laser cut and can be either straight interlocking
versions or the new ocean wave design I'm doing
Hinges are lasered perfectly into the body and the feet are brass adjustable height
You can choose for the top, these woods... walnut, bubinga, curly maple, quilted maple, Flamed Hawaiian Koa, Spalted Maple and flamed Redwood.
Inlay wood if chosen as an option, should be something that would contrast well
Bottom portion, (body) is Tiger Maple
purple heart tops at the end of pic run, are other lids for other customers' boxes
Finish can either be oiled, (tung or teak oil) or glossy clear
glossy finish is an additonal charge of $120 and up to 2 weeks leadtime
these are very nice custom boxes and could also be used
as humidors with the humidor package including Hydrometer: ask about this

asking types of wood you want and then it will take approx
4 weeks to complete and then we will ship the box to you Fedex.
